Mechanics

Rapala Fishing: Pro Series allows players to catch 17 species of fish in well-known American fishing grounds. More than 100 items of equipment such as rods, lures, and licensed Ranger boats have been given at players' disposal.

During the game, the player selects a spot on the lake and begins fishing. Appropriate manipulation of the fishing rod is important in a successful catch. The use of too much or too little strength can effectively rule out the chance of a successful catch. Equally important is the lure players decide to use. Each type of fish prefers a different type of bait. If the wrong type is chosen, the chances of success decrease.
