A steampunk-influenced 2D arcade game by iFun4All, a subsidiary of the Polish Bloober Team. The action of Red Game Without a Great Name takes place in a future in which outdated communication methods, such as traditional mail, are still in use. Considering the trouble ordinary messengers would have to go through to reach certain places, some parcels are delivered by dedicted mechanical birds.
Red Game Without a Great Name for PC, PSV and etc. is a bit steampunk two-dimensional arcade game developed by iFun4All, a subsidiary of Bloober Team, a Polish development studio. The title initially came out for mobile devices powered by iOS and was later released on PlayStation Vita and the PC.
The action takes place in a world of the future, however, outdated communication methods, such as traditional mail, are still in use. Since it is a rather dangerous place and some regions cannot be reached by ordinary messengers, some deliveries are carried out by specifically designed mechanical birds. The players assume the role of such a robot which mission is to deliver secret mail.
The gameplay consists of 60 varied missions in which we traverse various, rather hostile locations that are full of traps and dangers. In each of them, our task is to safely deliver a package and collect gears that are scattered around the levels (there is 180 of them in total). Luckily, the bird we control is not entirely defenseless and has the ability to teleport and to use various power-ups, among other things. This allows it to come out in one piece from dire situations and deal with every difficulty.
Red Game Without a Great Name for PC, PSV and etc. offers atmospheric two-dimensional graphics powered by the Unity engine. As the name suggests, the dominant colors are various shades of red. The visuals are accompanied by a pleasant, somewhat swinging soundtrack.

Red Game Without A Great Name has a deceptively simple mechanic at its core, the exact sort that benefits from top-notch level design. Thankfully, the game also has plenty of that, alongside a dynamic "silhouetted" visual style heavily influenced by steampunk.

All said for the price of ission Red Game Without a Great Name has more to offer than its lacking title would imply. With the likely frustration factor as you get further in it seems mostly suited to playing in shorter bursts and the levels are generally very quick to either complete or fail at before it takes you right back into the action again. If you enjoy some challenge and undoubtedly some aggravation in your gaming it’s not a bad budget title to check out.
