Playing the role of Remi, which together with the magical (and speaking) book Lore travels through this land, we face an army of ominous golems. RemiLore can be played either alone or in the company of a second player.

RemiLore is a hack'n'slash enriched with elements of roguelike games. The title is a result of cooperation between two independent development studios from South Korea, i.e. PixelLore (whose portfolio includes the survival game Subterrain) and REMIMORY.

Plot

The story told in RemiLore focuses on two characters - Remi, an ordinary student, and Lore, an awakened, speaking book that calls itself a master of magic. The girl and her unusual companion are taken to the fantasy world of Ragnoah, which is invaded by sinister golems. The task of the protagonists is to find a way out of this land (assuming it exists). Along the way, however, they have to face the machines and get to know the mysterious Choux, an android trying to get its hands on Lore.

Mechanics

The action in RemiLore is shown in isometric view. Traversing procedurally generated locations (which we visit in different seasons of the year), we deal primarily with combat against numerous adversaries - among them, we will find both common enemies appearing en masse, as well as powerful bosses. The battles will enable us to make use of more than 200 weapons, a wide range of combat spells and special abilities provided by Lore. In order to maximize our chances of winning, we have to chain our attacks in spectacular combos. In addition, as we progress, we unlock new costumes for the protagonist.

Game modes

RemiLore can be played solo, but also in co-op mode - the other player play as the aforementioned Choux.

Technical aspects

RemiLore features colorful three-dimensional visuals in manga style. The action takes place in 60 fps, accompanied by a dynamic soundtrack. In addition, dialogue lines are voiced in Japanese.
