Republic of Pirates

Mechanics

Republic of Pirates makes use of the top-down perspective. Our primary objective is to develop our headquarters. We start the game with a small outpost, which over time can turn into a thriving settlement, becoming more influential. For this to happen, we must gather resources, construct buildings for various purposes, operate on the black market, trade our produce and provide our people with access to luxury goods. This makes our settlement grow in power, letting us create increasingly complex production chains.

We must also take care of relations with other pirates and powers claiming rights to our territory. Diplomacy is not easy, given how complex the situation is, and we must work hard as to not alienate our more powerful neighbors. Nevertheless, we can't avoid bloodshed forever - this makes our fleet and its captains extremely important. The game contains many different ships which we can construct in shipyards - ranging from small bringantines to mighty warships. These serve both for defense and for invasions. Naval combat takes place in real-time, requiring proper use of our firepower and appropriate tactics.

Game modes

Republic of Pirates features a story campaign in which we must complete various objectives, as well as free play, without any limitations or goals.

Republic of Pirates features high-quality visuals. The locations and models are all very detailed and can be especially appealing.
