Rex

Rex: Faithful Friend is a non-violent family platform game with adventure elements, whose main character is a nice little dog with a white coat. Puppy belongs to nice and courageous Jindo breed, mentioned in a number of Korean folk tales (including stories about defeating a tiger and warning barking against the Japanese military invasion from the end of the 16th century). The must help the lost four-legged companion to find their way home where their beloved lady is waiting for them.

The action has been divided into ten extensive and varied storyline stages (rain-soaked forest, valley of flowering plants, etc.), consisting of arcade motifs (running, jumping, collecting objects, etc.) and educational (e.g. learning simple Polish and English vocabulary). The authors created the visual setting in two dimensions, putting particular emphasis on the aesthetics of the workmanship (attention is drawn mainly by multicoloured backgrounds and smoothly animated animal figures). A perfect complement to the whole is a well-developed sound layer and professional native language localization.
