RIFT: Storm Legion

Storm Legion for PC is the first expansion pack for an MMORPG known as RIFT. The expansion requires the player to have the base game installed. Storm Legion was developed by Trion World Network.

Mechanics

The expansion introduces two completely new continents – each of them is as large as their equivalent from the core version of RIFT. As a result, the game world becomes three times larger once Storm Legion is installed. Dusken is the first of said continents – it is a gloomy place, which in of the atmosphere resembles more a horror scenery than typical fantasy-like setting. When exploring these areas, the player will get acquainted mainly with the story of Regulos – a divine dragon that has come from a dimension of the dead. The other continent is known as Brevane, and the atmosphere gets brighter here. Above all, one will find the Eternal City in Brevane, which is the cradle of the Telarans, as a civilization. Among the new locations introduced, the player will also find the Tempest Bay, which is the metropolis serving the role of the base for both of the playable factions, namely the Guardians and the Defiant. Both Dusken and Brevane offer an extensive story that is conveyed both through individual missions and events involving entire lands and all the players remaining here. The expansion is made cohesive by a story of Crucia, who is the Queen of Storms wishing to bring her loyal legions into the world of Telara.
