RiMS Racing is a racing game, in which we sit behind the wheel of a motorcycle. In this game we not only race on tracks, but we also prepare our machine for competition as an engineer and mechanic. The game was developed by Raceward Studio team.
RiMS Racing is a racing game in which we control a motorbike and play the role of engineers and mechanics dealing with similar machines. The game focuses on realism. Behind its development is the Italian development team Raceward Studio, while the publisher is Nacon.
RiMS Racing is an ambitious, realistic racing game in which the fun does not end on the track. In addition to racing motorcycles, the player is also involved in optimising its performance as an engineer and mechanic. We have the possibility to dismantle every part of each of eight faithfully reproduced motorbikes (they are Ducati Panigale V4 R, MV Agusta F4 RC, Aprilia RSV4, BMW M 1000 RR, Suzuki GSX-R1000R, Honda CBR1000RR, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR and Yamaha YZF-R1) and replace it with something chosen from a vast catalogue of several hundred spare parts and elements allowing for the customization of the machine.
In order to properly manage our efforts, we have to analyse a range of data such as brake disc temperature, suspension behaviour, pressure or tyre wear. A similar level of realism characterizes the driving model, ed by an advanced engine responsible for collisions and physics of objects on the track.
RiMS Racing allows players to race on some of the most famous circuits, such as Silverstone, Paul Ricard, Laguna Seca, Suzuka and the Nürburgring.
RiMS Racing can be played solo or with other players. Those who like to play alone can participate in single races or enjoy an expanded career mode, in which we also manage our own team of specialists. An online multiplayer mode awaits fans of competition.
RiMS Racing has very nice, 3D, highly realistic graphics. Particularly noteworthy here are the motorbike models, which have been reproduced with great attention to detail.

Game Ratings for RiMS Racing Video Game.
GameSpew: 8 / 10 by Richard Seagrave
RiMS Racing is an enticing prospect for motorbike racing fans. It’s got great audio and visuals, convincing physics, and eight of the world’s most desirable bikes recreated in stunning detail. Even better, the actual act of racing is challenging, but highly enjoyable. It’s just a shame that one of the features that makes it truly unique – fiddling with components to make sure your bike is in tip-top shape – quickly becomes rather tedious thanks to the long string of button inputs required. Thankfully you can get around it with a little bit of effort, then you’ll have a much better time.
Wccftech: 7 / 10 by Chris Wray
RiMS Racing is a decent first attempt into the racing simulation genre by Raceward Studios, with good racing, a detailed career mode and attention to detail on the bikes higher than any other game in history. On the track, it's rare to find a game that gives you the feel of a bike as good as this. However, with this attention to detail comes an inherent need to feature accessibility, which the game lacks with a terrible tutorial, and a need to balance and reduce the indulgence. The biggest culprit of indulgence comes with bike customisation, which - while valuable for those who want to know about bike parts - acts as a barrier to fun and the playing of the game. This is one I recommend to fans of bikes and racing sims, just go into it warned that there are things that could get in the way of your fun.

Some racing sims split the difference between arcade-like accessibility and realism, but RiMS Racing leans pretty hard towards the latter. While not entirely unfriendly to novices, this is a game geared towards the motorcycle enthusiast. With its emphasis on what happens in the shop between races at least as much as on the races itself, RiMS Racing has a supply-your-own-drama career mode, but excels in supplying an exacting and sometimes thrilling simulator of racing on two wheels.
