Rise of Cultures is a strategy game that allows us to lead a chosen civilization and make it a world empire over the next centuries. It was developed by InnoGames company.
In Rise of Cultures we watch the action from a top-down view. After choosing one of the available civilizations there is nothing left for us to do but to start working hard on its growth. However, before we become famous for deeds worthy of being ed for millennia, we have to take care of everyday matters, such as mining and production of various goods, as well as expand the city. It quickly becomes important to make alliances and maintain good relations with neighbours. We can trade with allies, exchanging the surplus of collected goods for more desirable products. With time, we gain the ability to start research on various inventions and new technologies, thanks to which we gain an advantage over other emerging empires.
Other countries also do everything to grow in power. Depending on which civilization we choose, we can have Greece, Rome, Egypt, China or even Carthage as neighbors. Having such competitors, sooner or later we have to go to war with them. So it's worth thinking in advance about fielding a large and technologically advanced army, so that we have someone to send to battles fought in real time. Winning the wars, we gain new territories, on which we can build new metropolises, and we gather more and more wealth, and thus - we take another step on the road to hegemony.
Rise of Cultures offers both single and multiplayer modes.
