Risk of Rain 2: Survivors of the Void is the first add-on to the action game Risk of Rain 2, released in 2020. DLC was developed by Hopoo Games studio, i. e. creators of the basic version of the game.

Game mechanics

Survivors of the Void is classic add-on. The expansion does not introduce revolutionary changes and focuses on offering additional content.

The most important novelty is the introduction of several new playable characters. Among them is Railgunner, which is a sniper who prefers precise shots from long distances and can target the weak points of enemies. She also has defensive systems that automatically attack enemies who get too close to her.

Risk of Rain 2: Survivors of the Void also offers new locations, items and previously unknown enemy types.
