Rooftops & Alleys: The Parkour Game

Rooftops & Alleys: The Parkour Game is an arcade game entirely devoted to the so-called freerunning. This is an extreme sport that involves running through obstacle-filled courses. The runs must not only be done smoothly, but also in the most spectacular way possible. The game was developed by the independent, one-person studio MLMEDIA.

Mechanics

In Rooftops & Alleys: The Parkour Game we take on the role of a freerunner. Unlike in many games that tackle the theme of parkour, where it is largely automated, here we have full control over the character at all times.

The game provides us with a variety of urban maps with an open structure. In addition to diverse buildings, the gameplay is enriched by variable weather conditions. We run forward and slide on surfaces, jump on elements of the environment (such as metal barriers or concrete walls), and perform various tricks in the air. Acrobatics crowned with a smooth landing are rewarded with points, while doing combos provides us with multipliers, which can significantly increase the final score we achieve.
