Sam & Max Save the World

The game is divided into six episodes. In the first episode, Sam and Max have to solve the riddle of former childhood stars who were hypnotized and now sow terror in the city. Then the heroes deal with the host of a popular TV show that has trapped all its audience, try to find the missing police mole in the ranks of the Mafia, rescue the hypnotized president of the United States, try to destroy the Internet affecting the minds of s and finally set off to the moon to finally put an end to the sinister conspiracy and thus save the world.

Mechanics

Sam & Max Save the World benefits from the solutions introduced in the cult adventure games of LucasArts studio. The action is shown here from various cinematic shots, and the core of the game is puzzle solving. Puzzles are mainly about finding and using specific objects in a specific way. In addition, Sam and Max often chitchat with the characters they meet, which not only provide a valuable source of clues, but often shed new light on the case. During the game, we visit a number of different locations between which we move using the car; we also use the car for a few chase sections.

Technical aspects

Sam & Max Save the World has a good quality graphics in a colorful, cartoon-like style. While working on this remaster, the authors focused mainly on improving its quality. The creators have improved textures and lighting, and provided for panoramic resolutions. Besides, the soundtrack has been enriched with five new songs.
