Mechanics

The game consists of exploring the narrow streets of the Italian village, whose appearance changes with each subsequent game, solving puzzles and, above all, survival and proper management of the limited resources of valuable matches. If one character dies, the player takes control of the other. When they all die, the adventure ends definitively. The game is non-linear and the gameplay changes from the narrative side depending on the progress.

Technical aspects

Saturnalia is characterized by an unusual, quite original visual setting. The tension that grows during the game is also built up by the disturbing soundtrack and even claustrophobic streets of the village.
