Plot

The story in ScourgeBringer takes us to a post-apocalyptic Earth that was devastated and destroyed by a mysterious creature, spreading a poison that destroys all life. Players take on the role of Kihra, the most dangerous warrior of her clan, who goes on a journey through an unknown territory, in search of answers about the past and possible future of humanity.

Action in ScourgeBringer takes place on a two-dimensional stage, in a form known from classic platformers. At ScourgeBringer, we visit underground locations, consisting in part of randomly generated levels, filled with traps and many types of opponents. Kyhra has a number of special moves and attacks that are the basis of a fast attack-oriented combat system. Each stage ends with a duel with a powerful boss. In the dungeons, we can also find various secrets and souvenirs left by other daredevils.

The game has a eye-catching visual design, made in the pixel art style, inspired by the 16-bit hits of the genre of the 90s. The composer of music for Broforce .
