Secrets of Power: Alexander The Great is a Russian-made Stella Games casual adventure with puzzles like "hidden objects". The player takes on the role of a treasure hunter, who follows in the footsteps of the powerful magical artifacts that once belonged to the legendary Macedonian ruler.
Secrets of Power: Alexander The Great is the work of Stella Games, a Russian studio specializing in casual productions such as Mystery of Mortlake Mansion, The Battle of Elementals and others. The game belongs to the popular genre of uncomplicated HOPA (Hidden Objects Puzzle Adventure) adventures.
Secrets of Power: Alexander The Great takes place in the present day. The player plays the role of a treasure hunter, who unexpectedly becomes the owner of an ancient ring. It turns out that the object once belonged to Alexander the Great. In combination with a dagger and a crown, it gives its owner unimaginable power. The hero must find the remaining artifacts before they reach the wrong hands.
The mechanics of the game is based on elements that are well known to fans of the casual adventure genre. In the course of the game, the player has to deal with nearly 50 "hidden objects" tasks (searching for selected objects that have been cleverly camouflaged in the pictures). The creators also prepared some logical puzzles in the form of uncomplicated mini-games.
What distinguishes Secrets of Power: Alexander The Great from competing productions are the social features implemented in the game. Thanks to them the player can, for example, show off pictures from their adventures, sending them to friends via popular social networking sites.
Secrets of Power: Alexander The Great does not deviate from the standards of casual adventures. Two-dimensional graphics in the game are based on hand-drawn backgrounds with simple animations. Interestingly, the reward for achievements is the ability to unlock the level with 3D graphics.
