Mechanics

In Seed of the Dead: Sweet Home, the action is observed from a first-person perspective (FPP). The game has four heroines: Hikari Kondo, Aya Kagano, Kirara Suzune and Ichika Hazuki. Each of them has her own personality and individual skills, which influences both their behaviour on the battlefield and the relations they establish between each other.

The gameplay is based on two key aspects. The first is the extermination of hordes of enemies. In eight arenas we face, among others, hordes of the living dead and oversized monsters, as well as terrifying, giant snakes or huge, tentacle-like creatures. We eliminate enemies using an extensive arsenal that includes over thirty types of firearms and cold weapons. As we progress we gain new skills, which allows us to face more challenges.

Between battles we go to the base. The second key aspect of the game are the interactions the girls have with each other during their stays in their headquarters. By having conversations and giving each other gifts, the heroines build relationships with each other, which with time they can take to the next level. In addition, there are seven add-ons waiting to be unlocked here that allow us to upgrade our home base.

Technical aspects

The graphics of Seed of the Dead: Sweet Home were made in cel-shading technique. The whole was kept in a manga style.
