Shadow the Hedgehog is a three-dimensional arcade game about the adventures of the title dark alter ego of the most famous hedgehog in the history of electronic entertainment - the blue Sonic. The "Spiky Shadow" appeared for the first time in a product called Sonic Adventure 2, which was made available in 2001 to the owners of the Sega Dreamcast platform.

Shadow awakens with amnesia and is tormented by a dark past as he struggles to unveil his true identity. Was he created to save humankind or to do the evil bidding of the dark side?
