Imagine a game from the Command & Conquer series in which you can play online with a hundred of your friends at the same time, on one battlefield directing several of the hundreds of units in battle ... Nice truth, that's what Shattered Galaxy looks like.
The category of Massive Online Multiplayer games (i.e. games for playing only via the Internet on dedicated servers) was dominated from the very beginning by cRPG games with several raisins in the form of not very successful flight simulators. And although attempts were made in this direction, for a long time it was not possible to successfully transfer any RTS game to this type of gameplay. Nexon Inc., a producer of several lesser-known cRPG online games in Poland, was the first to create a real Massive Online Warfare or Shattered Galaxy. The action of the game takes place on a planet engulfed by the eternal war, between militarized factions for dominance over the sources of raw materials lying inside the continents. The entire planet's surface has been divided into provinces, where monumental battles between representatives of hostile factions take place.
The game consists simply of two game modes. The first of them is the hero mode, where we can move around the planet as a character, talk to other participants of the game, arm our unit consisting of units, build new units, trade in raw materials, train, participate in the political life of our faction, modify our parameters. In the second one we participate in a specific fight in a given province and we are no longer a character (hero), but we direct our units, give them orders, our allies and destroy our enemies with ultra-modern weapons.
