SingOn is another representative of the karaoke music genre that has been popularized on PlayStation consoles by the SingStar series. The game was released by SingOn Ltd. and Wish Studios in the UK is responsible for its creation. The basic version of the game is available in electronic distribution via PlayStation Store.
The rules of the game are similar to other karaoke titles. We choose one of the available music backgrounds and try to play the song as faithfully as possible, using our own voice strings. Just like in the popular Szansa na Sukces program, we can leave the original vocal in the background, or turn it off completely, relying on our own knowledge of a given song. In order to diversify the fun, the creators have prepared the possibility of activating one of two special filters: TuneOn and RoboOn, which modulate our voice in real time, changing its colour or making it similar to the robot's voice.
A compatible USB microphone is required to play the game. Having two microphones, we can invite a friend to have fun and try their hand at a special cooperation mode. In its basic, free version, SingOn offers a modest set of 10 tracks from Robbie Williams, Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson, Queen, PSY, Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Adele, Katy Perry and One Direction. Another of the hundreds of available songs we can buy on our own. The game also provides the possibility to buy temporary es, giving access to a full library of works for a period of 24 hours to a year.
For the purposes of the game, a special mobile application was created for Android and iOS, acting as a virtual pilot.
