Snowcat Simulator is a simulation of a snowcat produced by the development team of UIG Entertainment. The player plays the role of an employee who cares about the satisfaction of skiers on the alpine slopes. His task is to prepare the ground for skiing and snowboarding.
Snowcat Simulator is the first installment of a series of simulations of work related to the operation of equipment and vehicles to maintain the snow cover on the ski slopes. The title was produced by UIG Entertainment, a company specializing in this type of games.
The player plays the role of an employee of a holiday resort in the mountains. Its task is to provide comfortable conditions for skiers and skateboarders. This requires the preparation of ski slopes using a variety of machines, including snow cannons and snow groomers.
The main campaign has been divided into a number of missions, during which the player has to deal with, among other things, damage done by snowboarders, as well as changing weather conditions (strong winds, rapid snowfall, etc.). The game consists mainly in operating heavy equipment for snow production and preparing the ground for skiers.
Snowcat Simulator offers a three-dimensional desktop environment. However, the quality of the visual setting differs from the standards of modern games, which translates, among other things, into a small detail of the environment and vehicle models. The creators, on the other hand, have made every effort to ensure variable lighting conditions and the possibility of choosing one of several variants of camera setting (e.g. from the vehicle cabin).
