Soviet Strike is the next installment of a series of aerial arcade shooters, which began with Desert Strike: Return to the Gulf, published in 1992. The production tells the story of a secret American military unit, which operates in Eastern Europe and tries to prevent a group of men from seizing power in the region.

Story

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, a struggle for influence begins in Eastern Europe. The former head of the KGB, Uri Vatsiznov, also known as Shadowman, plans to overthrow Russia's current government. To this end, he s forces with the leader of a Caucasus-based organisation, Sadissa Savak, and the scientist Dr. Grimyenko, who owns long-range missiles. To prevent the war, the secret STRIKE military unit undertakes a series of missions to undermine the plans of the former secret service leader and his companions.
