Space Hulk: Ascension Expansion Pack

The second official DLC for Space Hulk: Ascension - a turn based science-fiction strategy game created by Full Control as an attempt to translate the popular Space Hulk board game, set in the Warhammer 40K universe, into a video game setting. This time around, the players get to control a new Space Marine faction – the Salamanders chapter.
Salamanders is the second DLC for the PC release of Jagged Alliance: Flashback.
As one can deduct from the title, the add-on introduces a new Space Marine faction, namely the Salamanders Chapter. These fire-born warriors are marked by their dark complexion and blood red eyes – physical features resulting from the mixture of altered DNA and high levels of radiation on Salamanders’ home planet. Apart from the physical distinctness, our fire aficionados also feature unique abilities that make them indispensable, and at the same time fully fireproof warriors.
Space Hulk: Ascension – Salamanders expands the base game with 20 additional story missions, during which the scions of Vulkan try to retrieve precious Tomes of Fire and punish those responsible for the profanation of sacred volumes. On their way, Salamanders have to face hordes of ravenous Genestealers, however they can make use of the newly introduced special abilities and tactical options. Like in the first expansion, Imperial Fists, this one also delivers 20 new Flash Missions.
The Salamanders expansion does not alter the visuals known from the base game significantly, however, what is worth mentioning, the Salamanders’ character models have been well developed with special regard to their distinctive skin tone and red eyes.
