Spec Ops: Rangers Assault is a special edition of Spec Ops: Rangers Lead the Way tactical action game supplemented by Spec Ops: Ranger Team Bravo. Players have the opportunity to direct the actions of the American Rangers during a number of dangerous missions in North Korea, Afghanistan, Bosnia and Iraq, among others.
The great popularity of Spec Ops: Rangers Lead the Way on the American market encouraged the development team of Zombie LLC studio and Ripcord Games publishing house to prepare an extended version - Spec Ops: Rangers Assault.
In addition to Spec Ops: Rangers Lead the Way, the package also includes the official Spec Ops: Ranger Team Bravo. Players have an opportunity to get to know the set of missions in which the soldiers of the 2nd U.S. Rangers battalion have to demonstrate their extraordinary skills while operating in enemy territory.
The game combines elements of shooting and tactical game. The player's task is to command a troop of several people and to fulfill the tasks. Located in different parts of the world (e.g. North Korea, Afghanistan, Bosnia and Iraq), the missions are inspired by the authentic operations in which the American Rangers took part in the 1980s and 1990s.
Developers have made every effort to ensure that the orders given, as well as the way virtual soldiers operate, reflect realistically as possible the real procedures. In deg the game were engaged former of selected reconnaissance units of the American army. At the same time, it was ensured that the clashes with the opponents had a dynamic and spectacular character.
Spec Ops: Rangers Assault is based on the capabilities of the proprietary Viper engine. It provides a relatively successful compromise between the quality of three-dimensional visuals and hardware requirements.
