Originating from mobile devices, this game combines the elements of tactical turn-based strategy and team RPG, equipped with an unusual control system, modelled on the Angry Birds series. During the game, we take control of a team of friendly squids, which are fighting with a mysterious substance that turns the inhabitants of the depths into monsters.
As the ultimate SQUIDS compilation, SQUIDS Odyssey includes the two campaigns from SQUIDS and SQUIDS Wild West, along with a brand new campaign in the Japanese kingdom of Wakame. SQUIDS Odyssey also includes a new Squid hero named Oktoku and four exclusive themed helmets. The controls have been completely reimagined for the Wii U and 3DS.

If you would have told me a few weeks ago that I’d now be invested in helping a pack of squids of varying shapes and sizes thwart an oozy corruption hellbent on destroying their homeland, I would have thought that you were crazy. Heck, I still think I’m crazy for what I’m about to say about this game.
