The Universe was plunged into darkness. Toadlike creatures, invaders from the depths of space, armed with powerful weapons and supertechnologies, managed to subdue Mankind. However, several centuries of occupation and unquestionable reign of the Artangs hadn't broken the humans' spirit. The Earth was secretly preparing for War. Weapons were smuggled onto unprotected planets by space trade lines. Secret agents of the Earth, disguised as common merchants, carried out important missions of the Resistance. Opposed by omnipresent Artang patrols, those caught violating the law invariably met death. Our hero however managed to survive in this unequal fight. Having lost his ship, communications, and the secret cargo, he found himself on unknown planet…

In this game you play the role of Earth's secret agent, helping human coalition in the struggle with alien invaders. As fate would have it, you have found yourself on an unknown planet, not ed in any space catalogue, a long way away from any space trade lines. Your main goal is to leave the planet and continue the struggle for Mankind's freedom. However, the way home is long and hard. Your travels as the protagonist becomes a sequence of surprising finds and discoveries, which unexpectedly reveal to him the most treasured mysteries of the Universe. This new-found knowledge may yet play a key role in the struggle against the Artangs.

Star Heritage is a rebirth of one of the best games made by Step Creative Group. The release of this game on the ZX Spectrum platform in 1995 was a great hit with Spectrum gamers. That version of the game was a text adventure. Since then technology has given us many new possibilities, and we have received a lot of requests to make a new version of the legendary Star Heritage for the PC.

1. The game can be completed in different ways. Everyone chooses for himself his own way. The line of action responds to the conduct of the player.

2. The game features changes of day and night, and time strongly influences the story flow. For example: someone will somewhere at night and will get in trouble, while another gamer ing during the day will notice nothing and go further along the same footpath.

3. The game also features a specially developed system of fighting enemies. Throughout the game, the player should watch the condition of the character, who needs to eat and rest (simply to run on to the nearest locations will not be enough to heal wounds – and it is also necessary to search for a safe place to rest). The game features such parameters as health, force, endurance, and experience. All these parameters are interconnected (in fights they grow together) and influence the outcome of future fights.

4. Original musical execution – The same music that appeared in the original 1995 Spectrum title has been recreated 10 years down the line with modern processing, not changing the internal essence and spirit (for those who played earlier) but sounding enhanced and up to date.
