Star Wars: Demolition, released on PS1, is an action game in which the player takes control of vehicles and characters known from Star Wars and uses them to fight with others on arenas. The game was created by Luxoflux studio, the developers of Vigilante 8 and Vigilante 8: Second Offensive.
The story in Star Wars: Demolition focuses on Empire banning racers. To fill the gap, Jabba organizes a completely new, much more dangerous competition - deadly fights with armored vehicles.
Star Wars: Demolition allows you to play as one of thirteen playable characters and fight in eight arenas. Playable characters include Boba Fett, Darth Maul, as well as pilots of vehicles such as AT-ST and the tank of the Trade Federation.
The aim of the game is to destroy all opponents. We can achieve this goal by using various power-ups scattered across the battlefield, such as weapon upgrades, shields and camouflage devices.
Star Wars: Demolition offers four modes, each of which can be played alone or together with another player. Tournament is the main game mode, in which the player must win a series of matches of increasing difficulty. Battle Mode allows you to set the parameters of the game yourself. High Stakes adds a gambling element to the game, allowing you to bet on who will win. The last variant of the game, Hunt-a-Droid, allows you to train your shooting skills by eliminating imperial droids.
