Starship Troopers is the title of Robert A. Heinley's science fiction novel, on the basis of which in 1998 he made a cinematic film with the same title. He talked about mankind's struggle against the aggressive race of Arachnids, which attacked Earth's colonies in the cosmos without warning. The war lasts many years and the scales of victory leans to the side of an unknown enemy.
There is a great "anti-arachnid" propaganda on Earth, all children dream of ing the Military Academy and fighting against spitting. The Earthly interview states that the destruction of Buenos Aires is responsible for a meteorite fired from the planet. Scientists, by following the route of the meteorite, manage to locate the mother planet of the Arachnids. It is time for revenge. The Earth's Fleet sets out for Klendathu to finally crack down on the enemy.
Based on this story, Starship Troopers is a tactical action game. You command a group of heavily armored infantry, armed with the latest weapons of the Earth's Federation. Each soldier has some special skills, which can be improved and increased with experience in combat statistics (RPG element). Our main task is to destroy the Arachnids' battalion. Battles can be fought with aerial , destroyed with fire throwers, artillery and even tactical nuclear weapons. POWs can be taken captive and nuclear charges can be placed in the enemy's nests. There are 20 different missions to complete, in which you will stand up against 15 kinds of giant Arachnids attacking from the air and from below the earth's surface.
