Mechanics

Starsiege: Deadzone is a first-person game. It's set aboard procedurally generated space stations. Players must explore them, searching for weapons and valuable resources, constantly on their guard, as danger lurks everywhere. Each station is filled with traps and enemies; hostile mercenaries and mutated Cybrids. Our roster of weaponry includes machine guns, shotguns, pistols and melee weapons in case of emergencies.

Players must hurry, as while they're exploring, fighting and scavenging, the stations they're on are slowly falling apart. Our only way off the station before it's completely destroyed is an escape pod. There are only enough pods for half the players though, and if we fail to escape, we'll lose all acquired resources.

Game modes

Starsiege: Deadzone only s multiplayer. It's up to us whether we'll play solo or cooperate with two other players.

Technical aspects

Starsiege: Deadzone features decent visuals. Dynamic lighting is a particularly important feature; light sources are destructible and we can use the darkness to our advantage by hiding or staging ambushes.
