Stellar: Galaxy Commander is a space battle strategy game by King, utilizing a free-to-play model with microtransactions. The gameplay consists of turn-based fights against an opposing space armada. The screen shows two boards covered by a square grid; each board belongs to one of the sides of the conflict.

The game doesn't offer an extensive storyline. The action takes place in the distant future, at a time when humanity has colonized countless alien planetary systems. However, the expansion has not led to peace and people are still waging wars with each other, only this time among the stars.
Stellar: Galaxy Commander, released on AND and iOS, combines elements of battle strategy and match-3 logic games. The gameplay focuses on battles between two star armadas. Each side receives its own board containing 42 fields where they place different types of ships. During two rounds of movement, our task is to set them correctly.
The key to victory is to combine the same types of units and merge them into one, much more powerful unit. For example, four ships occupying fields in a vertical line will give us a cruiser firing a laser lance, capable of piercing several fields filled with enemies. In turn, four units in the form of a square will form a bomber, whose bombs will tear out a hole in the first row of the enemy armada.
After two rounds, there is a battle phase in which all ships automatically start firing at the enemy. The purpose of each side is to destroy the enemy's main ship behind the rest of their armada. We only have to wipe the enemies defending the main unit.
While playing, players unlock more ships and heroes with various useful special abilities. The game focuses on PvP mode, but there is also an option to play against an artificial intelligence.
