Stray is a platform game by Polish indie studio Robot Gentleman Studios, known from the tongue-in-cheek survival game 60 seconds. Stray was released both for PC Windows and consoles.
In Stray, you play as the eponymous lost dog. It's stuck in the middle of a forest and trying to do everything it can to get back home. The path, however, is full of dangers, predators and hunters.
The gameplay of Stray focuses on exploring the forest, avoiding obstacles and traps (both elements of the environment, such as tree trunks, and snares), and surviving in the hostile environment. Since the protagonist is in danger all the time, to succeed you have to use the dog's senses and animal instincts.
Stray features unique visuals. The game was created in cooperation with Kaer Fertacz, a professional cameraman and editor. The final result consists of live-action scenes featuring actors and animals, which makes the game resemble an interactive movie.
