Stronghold: Definitive Edition - Valley of the Wolf Campaign is the second expansion to the strategy game titled Stronghold: Definitive Edition, released in November 2023. Similar to the previous DLC and to the base version, it was developed by the FireFly Studios team, which oversees the brand. The add-on debuted with the free spring update, which introduced, among others, four Polish castles.
Stronghold: Definitive Edition - Valley of the Wolf Campaign is a continuation and culmination of the story campaign from the Swine's Bay Campaign expansion. This time we have to face the sinister Lord Wolf, thwart his plans, save the Pearl of the North from him, and free the captured relatives of Sir Longarm.
Stronghold: Definitive Edition - Valley of the Wolf Campaign brings seven new missions in which we must demonstrate great cunning and tactical skills. The hostile terrain makes every skirmish here a significant challenge. Fortunately, we are not doomed to travel alone, as we can count on advice from a wise sergeant.
Stronghold: Definitive Edition - Valley of the Wolf Campaign is a non-standalone DLC, so it requires the base game Stronghold: Definitive Edition to run.
The spring update to Stronghold: Definitive Edition introduces 10 siege scenarios, as well as additional maps that can be used in multiplayer, free play and Siege modes. Among them, four Polish fortresses are the leading ones. We are talking about Biskupin, Malbork, Niedzica and Ogrodzieniec. While the first three of them are available in the Castle Trail mode, in which our task is to attack or defend historical fortresses, Ogrodzieniec appears as a standalone map in the Siege mode.
