The plot of the game revolves around a powerful terrorist organisation operating in , which at the beginning of the 1990s sought to create a global conflict between NATO and Warsaw Pact forces. Using the aforementioned plane, the player will perform several dozen delicate missions and try to maintain the fragile peace that both sides have respected since the beginning of the Cold War. The task is all the more difficult because well-organised terrorists come from the elite Soviet forces and successfully use stolen equipment to Russia's Mother. The game offers a "career" mode, in which there are three sets of several missions each. Scenarios can be done according to one's own vision, but only the successive performance of tasks will reveal to us the backstage of a confusing history in which the highest authorities of the Soviet Union will be involved.
Before each scenario we will get acquainted with the tactical map and the detailed mission goal. Before we get up in the air, we can arm the machine with a large arsenal of bombs and missiles, according to the task commissioned by the command. The flight model is very similar to the one used by Electronic Arts earlier on the occasion of Chuck Yeager's Air Combat. Great realism of machine control has been preserved, although for untrained players it can be difficult to control the plane with the mouse (the SU-25 reacts very sensitively to even the slightest movement of the ball). Of course, in order to master all on-board instruments you need almost the entire keyboard - a characteristic feature of classical flight simulators.
The graphic design resembles the previous production of Electronic Arts - Chuck Yeager's Air Combat. More vector objects have been introduced, new views from external cameras have been added (you can finally see the whole plane) and some minor improvements have been made.
