Super Sportmatchen

Super Sportmatchen is a humorous sports game developed by the independent studio Kaj Forell Video Game Brand – the team behind Magicka series.

Mechanics

In Super Sportmatchen, we are offered six competitors fighting for the victory and the title Champion of the Couch!ta. The athletes take part in ten sports activities which the players can freely pick while creating their own tournaments.

100M Dash requires the competitors to run the titular distance in the shortest possible time; in Ball Toss, we toss the ball as far as we can, with the wind being a modifier; Hoops is a crazy variation of basketball, in which all tricks are allowed (including stomping on opponents’ heads); Capy Throw consists in throwing a capybara that lands with a parachute; 180M Hopp-Boll is a kind of obstacle course; in River Dodge, we run another obstacle course – this time on water; Animal Feed concerns feeding animals (the referee can also be fed), in Wall Climb, we climb the wall to its top; Pillow Push is basically a pillow fight on a special ring; 250M Plint-Sprint requires us to run the course and jump over obstacles.
