An arcade game that sees us take control of a wingsuit. Our task is to explore the procedurally generated maps and pick up points awarded for flying close to terrain obstacles. The game was designed as to instill the relaxed state upon the player.
Superflight for PC is a straightforward arcade game developed by an independent studio known as GrizzlyGames. The game focuses on wingsuit flying – an extreme sport known as being one of the most dangerous activities in the world. A person participating in wingsuit flying engages in a glide that’s made possible thanks to a suit that adds surface area between the arms and legs of the glider. A jump begins from a plane or a steep hill, enabling the participant to control the direction of the flight. There are additional variations of the sport, including tracksuit or proximity which involves a low-altitude flight over the landmass with additional stunts performed mid-air.
Superflight enables us to assume control of a wingsuit seen from a third person perspective. The game sees us travel through open maps and acquire points by sweeping in close proximity of terrain obstacles.
Each map is procedurally generated, offering a unique course and different challenges. However, if the player finds any location to be particularily good, we can add it to our favorites list and return to it to e.g. complete a time challenge. Superflight also sports a simple world creator based on key words known as seeds. Even if the game plays out at breakneck speed, the game was designed as to instill a relaxed state of mind, which was attained thanks to simple, intuitive controls.
Superflight for PC is characteristic for its unique and colorful graphics. The game sports a catchy and atmospheric soundtrack.
