In Tactical Monsters Rumble Arena, the players are leaders of the titular monsters and battle other creatures which then the players. The game features not only recognisable monsters and mutants (like Frankenstein’s monster, Mummy, or Bigfoot), but also those from mythologies from different parts of the world (e.g. Medusa, Gryphon, and WuKong).
The core element of Tactical Monsters Rumble Arena is fighting aggressive monsters. Battles are turn-based and take place on arenas with hexagon tiles. In order to win, you need to put your units in correct positions and skilfully use particular monsters’ powers.
Each monster has weaknesses and strengths – while some are great in close combat, others are deadly from distance (therefore they need additional cover), and another creatures concentrate on defensive skills (like healing allies). Also, monsters have unique special attacks that can turn the tide of victory.
Therefore, before you start a battle, it is useful to take a closer look not only on your units’ arrangement, but also on types of units the enemy is pitting against you. With the progress, you can enlist new monsters and upgrade the ones you already own, so you can take up more demanding challenges.
Tactical Monsters Rumble Arena offers a number of game modes, like Adventure Mode based on PvE rules, classic multiplayer (in which you can fight players from around the world), or the Guerrilla Warfare Mode (where you face ever-stronger bosses). Additionally, the players can form clans and share monsters with allies.
The visuals of Tactical Monsters Rumble Arena are feature a light-hearted, cartoon style. This is a free-to-play game with microtransactions.
