Plot

The action of Tears of Avia takes place in a fantasy land known as Esther. The world is torn by war between two city-states: the religious Tirig and the heretical Helmgar. Players are thrown in the middle of the conflict and must decide which side they will stand on.

Mechanics

Tears of Avia is a turn-based RPG. The player takes control of a team of up to five heroes. Each of the dozens of available characters features unique abilities and development tree. During the game, the player travels through various locations and fights encountered opponents in turn-based combat.

In combat it is very important to use the skills of the team effectively. Their combination can create powerful attacks that can determine victory.

Tears of Avia also introduces a character development system. With the progress of the game, the heroes reach new levels of experience. This unlocks additional abilities that can be used in combat.
