Tennis Antics

An unusual game, which in a rather loose way refers to traditional tennis. More important here, however, are the skillful fingers. Tactics goes into the background. The aim of the game is to bounce the ball sent by the opponent in such a way that on its own half it does not bounce back from the ground more than once. In "Tennis Antics" the traditional scoring system (10-35-40 and Deuce) has been replaced by life energy. For each subsequent bounce on his own half (the game tolerates only one) the player loses a certain amount of health points. The power-ups scattered all over the board are a big convenience. Generally, they can be divided into two groups: food (regenerates lost energy) and bonuses. In the latter case, for example, we may have to deal with the acceleration of movements of a controlled character, sending a bomb or other unpleasant surprise (instead of a traditional ball) towards the opponent, increasing strength, immediate stopping of the ball, and even a momentary immortality. The game has been divided into sets, but they are played much faster than in reality. The duel can end in two ways: if one of the players loses all their energy or after a certain time limit has elapsed. It is worth noting, however, that the latter option is possible only in some cases, i.e. one of the players must have a clear advantage. Otherwise the game will add a few seconds. As the progress continues, additional attractions appear. For example, the player can take care of collecting letters scattered on the board (collecting the whole word results in a very valuable bonus).
