Terminator: Survivors is an action survival game set in the sci-fi universe created for the Terminator film series. The game was published by Nacon company, and its development was handled by the Nacon Studio Milan team.

Plot

Terminator: Survivors takes us to an alternative version of 2009. The action of this game was set four years after the so-called Judgment Day, when Skynet machines took control of Earth. People who managed to survive had been living in hiding so far, but some of them finally decided to leave their shelters and try to create a substitute for society. During the game we take on the role of one of such survivors, and our primary task is to fight for survival.

Mechanics

The action in Terminator: Survivors is watched from a first-person perspective (FPP). The game gives us an option to explore an open world. We gather resources that serve us to create new equipment and improve the already owned gear, as well as to expand the hideout that serves as our base of operations.

Along the way, we learn more about past events, and we also meet other survivors, whom we can include in our group. The game includes many characters known from the films.

We must constantly be on guard, because vigilant Skynet machines, led by the titular Terminator, are constantly hunting people. Although we can face enemies using melee and firearms, often a better solution is to act in hiding and escape when necessary.
