The second part of the detective adventure game promoted by Sierra. It has a captivating storyline and good audio-visual setting, thanks to which it won the award for the best adventure game of 1996.
Sequel dark adventure game Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers, in which our hero followed in the footsteps of a mysterious, satanic mystery. At that time, it became a breakthrough in the field of both the applied graphics as well as the topics about which it treated.
This part not only uses a completely new kind of graphics, i.e. Full Motion Video (interactive film), but also brings it to the top of its technical capabilities, which led, among other things, to the award for the best adventure game of 1996. However, this not only influenced the winning of this award. Also, and perhaps most of all, it was influenced by an extensive and captivating plot.
Players play the title character of Gabriel Knight and his faithful assistant Grace Nakimury. Together they launch a painstaking investigation into seemingly unconnected murders. The action takes place in many interesting places in German Bavaria. On our way we will visit many authentic places, such as the Old Town of Munich or the picturesque castle of Louis II.
Both of them will come across bizarre facts that will lead them to mysterious places and legends connected with the mad king, the great composer Richard Wagner and the Bavarian nobleman called the Black Wolf. They will discover that the truth can be really frightening....
