An adventure game with dark comedy and horror elements. The Coffin of Andy and Leyley has us control a pair of siblings - Ashley and Andrew Graves. The main characters perform acts of cannibalism and other crimes, trying to survive and to control dark powers.
The Coffin of Andy and Leyley is a dark comedy adventure game in which we take control of cannibal siblings. The game began life as a demo developed by an independent developer using the pseudonym Nemlei, and was then taken over by Kit9 Studio.
The main characters of The Coffin of Andy and Leyley are Ashley and Andrew Graves. We meet the siblings when they are trapped in their apartment during a three-month quarantine. The situation is complicated by the fact that the protagonists have no supplies. One day the siblings witness the summoning of a demon. After a newcomer from hell steals the soul of their neighbor, the starving Andrew and Ashley decide to eat his body.
This is how the adventure begins, during which our characters must do everything to survive, which pushes them to commit further crimes (not only those involving acts of cannibalism) and to play with dark powers. How their fate will unfold, as well as what their relationship will look like, depends on our actions and the choices we make.
In The Coffin of Andy and Leyley we see the action from a bird's eye view. The story is divided into episodes. We explore locations, conduct conversations and make various decisions that affect the further course of the story. From time to time we have to solve simple puzzles, although they play a secondary role. The game allows us to take control of both Ashley and Andrew.
The two-dimensional graphics of The Coffin of Andy and Leyley are cartoonish but gloomy, and its colors are dominated by shades of brown and gray.
