An expansion for The Elder Scrolls: Legends focused on titular Houses of Morrowind. Developers added 149 cards (including a new three-attribute type) and increased the max size of a deck from 70 to 100 cards.
The Elder Scrolls: Legends – Houses of Morrowind is the fourth expansion for the 2017 card game The Elder Scroll: Legends. It is the work of Bethesda Softworks studio, which added new cards and mechanics.
Plot
Players are taken to Vvardenfel island and are instantly put in a role of a pawn in the game between titular Houses of Morrowind province. The winner gets to rule over it, but it requires many schemes and machinations.
Game mechanics
Houses of Morrowind features 149 new cards. Some of them are normal units described by two attributes (colors), while others belong to the new type with three attributes. This allows players to create special decks by adding those new cards, which lets them use units and items with all attributes. However, there is one more condition to be met – i.e. having at least 75 cards in the decks. Thus is another novelty – the cap for deck size has been raised to 100.
Cards of Houses of Morrowind can be used to create five three-attribute sets. Each of them symbolizes one of factions ruling Vvardenfell and offers unique mechanics. For example, House of Redoran has Mobilization that increases the attack of a random creature, while House of Telvanni can use Betrayal to gain an additional turn in exchange for a unit.
