The Falconeer is a combination of a dogfighting game and an RPG. The player takes control of a warrior who climbs a giant bird and takes part in the war that took over The Great Ursee. Simultaneously it learns about secrets hidden by this world.
The Falconeer is a combination of a flight game and an RPG, developed by Tomas Sala. The player is taken to a fantasy land called The Great Ursee, where they take on the role of the title falconer - an aerial warrior riding a giant bird.
The action of The Falconeer takes place in the fantasy land of The Great Ursee, which hides many secrets left behind by forgotten gods. This legacy is the object of desire of the factions inhabiting the world.
The player takes control of a falconer - a warrior who rides an armed aerial mount. They travel the vast world of The Great Ursee, meeting new factions in the conflict. The title does not impose a specific path - it is possible to stand on any side of the conflict.
The Falconeer is an open-world game, in which events are presented from third-person perspective. Players can explore The Great Ursee freely as they are getting to know the different factions present in this vast world. Once we decide to establish cooperation with a given group, we must constantly take care of our position.
In combat, players have a wide range of ranged weapons at their disposal, which can be upgraded with the help of accumulated funds. The battles themselves are extremely dynamic. Avoiding attacks requires various airborne acrobatics. The devs have also tried to create a variety of opponents that we will have to face - from other falconers to huge airships.
