The Games '92: Espana

The Games '92: Espana is a sports game produced by Creative Materials for Ocean, which refers to the Summer Olympic Games in Barcelona. As a trainer and competitor in one, the player will take part in a number of sports competitions and will try to reach for as many medals as possible.

The game is divided into three parts. In the first of them - coaching - we take control over a group of twelve players, whom we direct to the gym and establish a cycle of exercises to increase their form. All decisions taken here will have an impact on the final disposition of athletes during the relevant competitions. When the time spent on training is over, your pupils compete in nearly thirty competitions covering a wide range of disciplines (athletics, combat sports, swimming, weightlifting, etc.). This part is purely dexterity and consists mainly of pressing the cursor keys from time to time by hitting the Space bar. The last element of the game is a rich encyclopedia, covering not only a short history of all modern Summer Olympic Games (until 1992), but also a description of the places where competitions were held in Barcelona.
