Release Date: September 15, 2006
An original hybrid of an RPG and a real time strategy game developed by 4Head Studio. The player enters the world of 14th century Europe - a world full of intrigue, conflicts, and wars. Our goal is to amass a fortune, a goal which can be accomplished in many different ways. Even if we begin the game as an ordinary citizen, we can quickly develop in the chosen trade, be it trading, craftsmanship, or even theft.
The Guild 2 for PC is an original game that attempts to mix a role playing game with a strategy game to create a realistic (at least partially) recreation of the class system of the late Middle Ages. Once the game begins, the player is taken to the 14th century, an era of unrest and conflict – in short, a perfect place for opportunists and swindlers planning a quick ascension from rags to riches. The successor to Europa 1400: The Guild offers multiple ways of attaining this somewhat far-flung mission.
Unfortunately, the road to riches is steep and long, while one life may not be enough to get what we’ve wanted. Our incredible ability to appear in the right place and at the right time produces many alliances – we can involve up to three friends (each with his own set of strengths and weaknesses) to create a partnership. Some of us trust only blood – our company can consist only of family , either by relation, or your offspring – the game allows us to start a dynasty, which should be seriously considered by those worrying about the future state of their businesses. First things first, though – we begin as a journeyman of one of four professions: Craftsman, Patron, Scholar, and a Rouge, and attempt to find our way up, with numerous possibilities opening for us along the way. We may be able to become a new mayor, or even be influential enough to have a say in international affairs. However, most of you probably considers the career of a Rouge – instead of living a quiet life of a tradesman, we can embark upon a road of crime, either as a burglar or a brigand capturing convoys and shipments, with the most lucky ones ending as ruthless barons of the underworld or high-profile thieves. In short, the game offers numerous career options, including a politician, aristocrat, or even a priest! The authors focused on freedom and a faithful recreation of medieval society.
Our journey from zero to (anti)hero is reinforced by detailed environments and more life-like characters. The game takes place in real time, which is somewhat understandable – turn-based system could ruin the immersion and complicate the game too much. The Guild 2 allows the players to see the Middle Ages from a multitude of viewpoints, accessible with a little bit of courage and willingness needed to get through numerous obstacles and shortfalls.

Strategy
The third expansion to The Guild 2, developed by the team at 4Head Studios. This time, the action takes place in the titular era of the Renaissance, which has been presented in two new scenarios: The Alps and The Free Republic of the Netherlands. The expansion introduces an array of new professions, such as the mercenary, artist, banker or mason, as well as a whole range of solutions – the changes have been made primarily to the judicial system and combat mechanics, as battles are now fought on much larger maps, on which you can also encounter wild animals and independent characters, controlled by the newly improved AI. The Guild 2: Renaissance also introduces the ability to ascend to the nobility, and features previously unavailable buildings, as well as an exclusive, brand new soundtrack.

Strategy
The second expansion to The Guild, a real-time strategy game with RPG features, developed by 4Head Studios. True to its title, the add-on takes us to Venice – a 15th century Italian city state, which the creators recreated with all details - and allows the players to visit places like Piazza San Marco or Doge’s Palace. Due to the unique location of the metropolis, many places can only accessed with new means of transport - gondolas. This isn’t the only novelty, as The Guild 2: Venice features many new things, improvements and changes, such as another story campaign and the option of giving our character personality of Casanova, famous for his love conquests.

Strategy
The first expansion for The Guild 2, an interesting title enabling us to create our own house and lead it to prestige and wealth. The new expansion enables us to engage in various professions involving sea travel. We are free to participate in complex trade relations with the greatest ports, build good relations with other traders, or sail dangerous trade routes. On the other hand, the player can take control of a pirate ship, and hunt trade vessels for their precious cargo. The authors introduced a new mechanic – sea battles, which are influenced by a number of factors, including the armament of the ship, as well as chosen tactics. Nonetheless, pirate ships are not the only threat – sometimes, the sea is visited by powerful storms, with hazardous winds and high tides often damaging our ship or even making us loose our cargo. Aside from the above, Pirates of the European Seas introduces a new campaign, three extensive maps, as well as a set of new buildings and professions.
