Release Date: December 10, 2015
A classic music-rhythmic game, which is a spin-off of the Taiko no Tatsujin series. The game offers a total of forty songs written for Idolmaster games and their animated adaptation. The task of the players is to beat the rhythm on virtual taiko drums.
The Idolmaster Must Songs - Ao-Ban (also known as The IdolM@ster: Must Songs - Ako-Ban) is a spin-off of the rhythm game series Taiko no Tatsujin, in which we play songs produced for The Idolmaster games. The Japanese company Bandai Namco is responsible for the creation of the title. The production was published simultaneously with The Idolmaster Must Songs - Aka-Ban and was created to celebrate the tenth anniversary of The Idolmaster franchise. Both titles differ only in the list of available songs, so players can move their saved game states and trophies between them.
The gameplay in The Idolmaster Must Songs - Ao-Ban does not differ from that offered by countless installments of Taiko no Tatsujin. Our task is to beat the rhythm on taiko drums. We do this with just two buttons. During the game, red and blue symbols of the drum are moving from right to left along a line, indicating where we want to hit the instrument (red - center, blue - edges). The title offers four difficulty levels, which increase the frequency of symbols and introduce additional challenges.
In addition to the standard gameplay, which consists of completing subsequent songs, the game also offers completely new elements taken from The Idolmaster series. In Live Stage mode, the players take on the role of a music producer, who organizes concerts, gaining experience points and money, allowing for the purchase of additional items and accessories.
The Idolmaster Must Songs - Ao-Ban uses the classic visuals of the Taiko no Tatsujin series. The game offers has a total of forty songs from The Idolmaster 2 and The Idolmaster: One for All console games, Shiny Fest and Dearly Stars moobile games, as well as The Idolmaster animated series and movie.
