The Ramp

The Ramp is a minimalist arcade game about skateboarding. The game was developed by a one-person, independent studio Hyperparadise.

Mechanics

In The Ramp we observe the action from a top-down view. The game gives us four miniature levels - the title ramp (half-pipe), single and double pool and a huge jump. During the gameplay we simply indulge in riding a board and performing tricks in the air; additionally, the pools allow us to slide on their edges.

Our tricks are not scored, and the game does not set us any specific tasks. You do, however, need to spend some time mastering the controls - this applies to performing specific stunts, as well as jumping off the ramp at a certain moment and properly positioning the rider before landing. In addition, the list of tricks, which is quite extensive, can be put together in spectacular combos. This ensures that even the most demanding players will find something for themselves here.
