The Sims 2: Apartment Life is the eighth expansion to one of the best selling series in the history of computer games. The Electronic Arts allows our Sims to try living in the urban jungle and move to a luxury and comfortable apartment in the block of flats where you will have more or less friendly neighbors. To run the game, it is required the basic version of The Sims 2.
The characters, which are led by the player, can enjoy living in a small community: visiting each other, taking care of the development of their careers, looking for new friends and partners and finally take care of their image and a good reputation index. This new element of the game is useful when Sims want to achieve their goals and needs the of friends.
In Apartment Life is also possible to visit various establishments (nearby club, climatic cafe) and the location placed in the open air - the park where you can see break-dancers’ shows and a neighborhood field with a playground which provides an entertainment for children. The player decides which direction the Sims will choose, and how the relationships between the characters will eventuate.
The Sims 2: Apartment Life as usual introduces to the series plenty of new items (a huge TV screen, a radiator, a folding bed, etc.) and social options (for example, the Sims can ask a neighbor to watch over the children in the absence of parents). Besides moving to blocks of flats, they have also an opportunity to design their own buildings - from the walls to the finishing elements.
An important innovation of The Sims 2: Apartment Life is the introduction of the magic. Now the Sims can be promoted and be witches and wizards, trained by magicians. It allows uttering spells and developing magic potions.
