The Sims Medieval for PC, iOS and WP is a special edition of The Sims series, transferring the popular and recognized model of the game in the Middle Ages. The production was developed by The Sims Studio and combines elements of strategy and CRPG.

In contrast to the standard edition of The Sims where the action takes place in modern times, the aim of the game in The Sims Medieval is the expansion of the medieval kingdom. The player has a full control over the entire process, but what it is worth noting - the direction of development depends on the character of the game.

The plot of the game depends on the character which is chosen by the player - a king or queen, a knight or a wizard, blacksmith or bard present different story, from a different perspective. It involves access to a separate set of quests that will not only develop the story but also affect the shape of the represented world. There are many tasks referring to classical history, which will be appreciated by all medieval, or fantasy climates lovers (for example: forge a legendary sword, arranging a royal wedding, protection the kingdom from the evil wizard, finding the fountain of youth).

The Sims Game Series

The Sims is a series of games created by Maxis studio and published by Electronics Arts since 2000. The games in the series can be described as life simulators, in which, directing the avatars we create, we act out scenes from everyday life, but also build them houses, which they can then furnish according to their own vision. The series has sold more than 200 million copies, making it one of the world's best-selling games, and has twice made it into the Guinness Book of World Records.

Simulation

An expansion for The Sims: Medieval, a spin-off to a very popular, humorous life simulator. As the title indicates, The Sims: Medieval – Pirates and Nobles introduces new medieval character types: nobles and pirates. The story begins when the Pirates of Aarbyville and the Nobles of Tredony arrive to our kingdom together with sword duels, love affairs, great adventures and numerous secrets. The main highlight of Pirates and Nobles expansion pack is a new ambition, in which the player’s goal is to end the war between the two factions. Moreover, the expansion adds new missions that further develop the introduced story, and allows us to embark on treasure hunting, in which maps and shovels will play a pivotal role. Furthermore, the expansion brings new character traits for Sims, including one legendary. The included thematic items and elements of clothing, such as the interrogation chair, falcons, parrots, or clothes and hats, invigorate the kingdom, as well as the Sims’ appearance.
