The Stretchers is a humorous logic/arcade game, in which players take on the role of paramedics. The game was developed by Tarsier Studios and published by Nintendo.
The Stretchers takes place in a world where people got "stunned" by a villain known as Captain Brains. The task of the players is to transport the sick to the hospital.
While playing The Stretchers, the player takes on the role of medical rescuers and travels around the open world to perform rescue operations. Each mission of this type is based on taking all the patients from a specific location. Doing so requires solving a variety of logic puzzles.
When driving the ambulance, we can jump on the ramps set up all over the world and destroy our surroundings. During the transport of patients to the hospital, each action of this type adds points to the player's , which translates into the final result of the mission.
The Stretchers can be played soloe or in two-person cooperation.
Physics in The Stretchers are based on ragdoll technology, which translates into somewhat unnatural movements of the characters. The vehicle driven by the player is capable of performing a variety of acrobations
