A hard to categorize game developed by Marcin Borkowski. In The USB Stick Found in the Grass we play the role of a policeman whose task is to investigate a flash drive found at the scene of a potential crime.
The USB Stick Found in the Grass is a game that slips out of classification. We receive a virtual image of the pendrive, and we can freely explore its content using the operating system. All this in order to determine whether it is related to a potential crime committed in the place where it was found. The game was developed by Marcin Borkowski - a Polish programmer and journalist involved in the video game industry, nicknamed "Borek".
In The USB Stick Found in the Grass, we play as a police officer who finds a mysterious flash drive in a place where a crime may have been committed. In order to determine whether it is related to the crime, we have to carefully examine its entire content.
The virtual drive image, which is The USB Stick Found in the Grass, contains a variety of files. These include seemingly insignificant photographs, the USB flash drive owner's diary, which is full of potential clues, and protected archives. Although solving the puzzle of the USB flash drive does not require any specialist IT knowledge, it may be made easier by installing tools for recovering deleted files or cracking s.
The story of The USB Stick Found in the Grass dates back to 2018, when Marcin Borkowski "lost" twenty real USB flash drives in Warsaw during the Pixel Heaven festival. Although many people were quite suspicious of the idea of connecting them to their computers, the interest in this kind of fun turned out to be so great that "Borek" started distributing them by mail order. With time, the author decided to prepare an English-language, virtual version of the entire project.
