The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection

The story of the third season players can meet Javier Garcia, a man trying to keep his family alive. In 400 Days players can observe the first four hundred days since the zombie outbreak from the perspective of five new characters and in Michonne – A Telltale Games Miniseries the story focuses on a female katana-wielding warrior named Michonne, who is known both from comics and the TV series adaptation.

Mechanics

Contrary to many other adventure games, in the titles available in The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection there are almost no riddles. Instead, the gameplay focuses on exploration of locations, following the adventures of protagonists and making various decisions that determine the plot and the ending of the game. It is worth mentioning that the consequences of choices made by the players can be revealed in later episodes and the time to make these decisions is limited. In addition to that, the games feature action quick-time event sequences.

Technical aspects

The games available in The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection for PS4 and XONE feature nice-looking, cel-shaded graphics. The developers took advantage of the capabilities of Sony and Microsoft consoles and refurbished the graphics of the first entries in the series.
